Taylors Academy have developed a unique, cost effective programme to help Health and Social Care providers get the 'Care Certificate' completed in a timely manner.
The Care Certificate is the current ‘Induction’ standard for Health and Social Care and requires Care Workers new to care to undertake knowledge assessment criteria and workplace assessment criteria within the first 12 weeks. Taylors Academy provide a 3 day programme to cover the knowledge and understanding criteria within the Care Certificate as well as Moving and Handling training and Basic Life Support.
Upon completion the Care Worker will receive The Care Certificate Knowledge Criteria certificate, Manual handling and Basic life support certificates. The Care Certificate certificate is double sided for the line manager to sign-off the workplace assessment criteria. A handy observation booklet is also provided to record the evidence witnessed in the workplace.
During the 3 day induction, we follow realistic Care Plans and expect the attendee to play the role of the Service User as well as taking their turn to be the Care Worker. This ensure that we embed empathic care approaches into every Care Worker. This is a enjoyable course and allows the new Care Worker training to be accelerated so your organisation can benefit from their skills and knowledge earlier in their probabtion period.
Please note* Units: Duty of Care | Equality and Diversity | Privacy and Dignity are covered and evidenced with in our Care Plan scenarios throughout the 3 days.
