Cheryl Gordon

I have worked in the Health and Social Care for 24 years.  Throughout my career I have been passionate about providing the highest standards of care and raising the profile of the industry. I worked from a carer, senior and to Deputy Care Home Manger.  In additional I was the lead for manual handling training of 8 care homes in the company that I worked for.

In 2015 I decided to become a full-time training consultant enabling me to impart my knowledge, skills and experience to a wider audience.  My aim is to inspire Support Workers to achieve their full potential, reaffirming their vital roles within this sector.

My biggest hobby is radio presenting. Where time is spent in the radio studio and outside events.  This involves presenting and producing radio programs.

Steve Dickson

Steve has been teaching since 2002, gaining his teaching qualification whilst working for Devon and Cornwall Police. However, Steve diverted to the Health and Social Care sector since 2006.

Steve initially joined Taylors of Grampound to support internal training and provide high quality external training for Care Providers, forming Taylors Academy.

Steve spent a short time away from Taylors of Grampound to work on a National Apprenticeship Scheme for Healthcare Engineering but has recently rejoined in 2018 and has since expanded the portfolio of courses offered to the Health and Social Care sector to increase knowledge and skills of Support Workers.

Steve also works as a committed volunteer for South West Ambulance Service Trust as a Community First Responder.
